Executive Summary:

I plan to make a realistic 3D model of the school with the laser cutter and the primary materials used will be cardboard. You will be able to see the individual floors of the school and take off different parts of the school to see the floorplan more in depth.

Introduction:

I am proposing a laser cut 3D model. I would like to learn more about using laser cutting and about making 3D models from flat sheets. Through this project I will learn how to use the 2D to 3D design process with Fusion 360.

Project Details:

1. I propose to create a 3D model of the school. 

2. I will be working in Fusion 360 to make a 3D model of the school.

3. Then I will take the faces of the 3D model and lay it out on a blank svg file

4. I will laser cut the svg and use cardboard as my primary material

5. Then I will assemble the parts and add a finishing to whatever material I use. 

6. If I have time left over, I plan to 3D print out little desks and chairs that I would design in Fusion 360
